Dr. Golet's research addresses the ecology of both inland and coastal wetlands, as well as the interaction between wetlands and human land use. Principal research interests include: wetland classification, the ecology of forested wetlands, wetland hydrology, wetland vegetation dynamics, wetland boundary delineation, assessment of wetlands as wildlife habitat, ecology and conservation biology of wetland songbirds, vernal pool ecology, and wetland restoration. For more than 30 years, Dr. Golet has taught courses addressing ecological and land use aspects of wetlands.
